About Me
Hey there!
My name is Magely Martinez. I am a versatile makeup and hair artist who delivers the team's vision through creativity and communication. I am known for my determination, hard work, and kind heart. I always give my full effort to every project I invest my time in.
My parents taught me to value hard work and sincerity, especially in what I love doing. Because of this, I always leave projects with memories, great connections, and a stronger love for my job. I work hard not just for my own success but for the success and well-being of everyone around me.
Not to mention art runs through my blood as it has been part of my family for such a long time! I was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA but my family comes from Oaxaca, Mexico where art is essential in the culture.
Thankfully, with the support of loved ones, I was able to graduate from John Paul the Great Catholic University in Escondido with a Bachelor's in Communications Media then invested in more education by getting certificates in Makeup, Hair, and Business at Alchemy Beauty Academy in San Diego. Between getting my degree and certificates I dedicated a lot of time to learning and gaining experience from areas like film sets, photoshoots, music videos, bridal parties, events, and more.
Through my experience and education in the art of makeup and hair, I hope to share many impactful stories that are meant to be told around the world.
